Which district serves your address

Westlake Village sits on the Los Angeles–Ventura county line, and the two sides have different school districts. Las Virgenes Unified serves students from "the Los Angeles County portion of Westlake Village" (LVUSD), while Conejo Valley Unified runs two elementary schools on the Ventura County side (CVUSD schools). Two tools settle it for a specific address: LVUSD's Find Your School and CVUSD's Find My Assigned School. The Westlake Village district guide walks through it.

Westlake Elementary CVUSD TK–5 1571 E. Potrero Road

For middle school, the two districts go separate ways. CVUSD's street indexes list Colina Middle School for Westlake and Westlake Hills; LVUSD students continue in Las Virgenes, where 6th-grade math is set by a 5th-grade placement test.
