Subjects that fit Colina students
Colina's debate team and its year-long yearbook and journalism class reward clear argument and careful writing, and that's where writing tutoring fits. In math, the decisions come at the start of 6th grade and at the June and July Boost Exams; middle school math tutoring covers the 6th–8th grade standards through Algebra 1. A student juggling choir, jazz band or strings with homework may also want study skills sessions on planning the week.
